Its the most wonderful time of the year…
The Christmas season in Michigan is a time of wonder, family, and celebration. Of course, we are always hoping for snow as well or singing “Venite Adoremus” makes no sense!
“The snow lay on the ground, the stars shone bright, when Christ our Lord was born on Christmas night”
As we make our way around West Michigan bringing good cheer, we are blessed to have a special view of the season. Families come together and disconnect from their busy lives. From the corner of my eyes, as we sing “Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer”, I see the sheer joy on a grandmother’s face when she hears that special song that brings back memories. She starts clapping and singing with her granddaughter. There’s a shy little girl at the next table in her mother’s arms who is creating new memories and is encouraged to request “Jiggle Bells” by her parents. A smile creeps on her face as the song melts away her fears. I couldn’t help smile at the little boy who walked into the Tabor Hill Winery lobby and when he saw us singing stopping in his tracks in wonder.
On December 8, we enjoyed singing at Tabor Hill Restaurant and Winery. What a beautiful place to sing and bring good cheer as well as an amazing and friendly staff. Check out their Facebook page. https://www.facebook.com/taborhillwinery/
